A word by the author | God being the Originator of life and the Creator of Mankind, He knows exactly that which is good for human beings and that they should avoid. All through the Holy Quran, He gives clear directions how to live this life upon earth. He calls us to seek refuge only by Him, to ask Him for help and guidance, to follow His path and the path of His prophets and messengers, tells us to care about our families and neighbors and tells us that even a smile in face of our brothers would be rewarded. In this section, I review my personal insights about life and relationships in light of Heavenly guidance as can be read in the Holy Quran.

It is truly pleasant to know and realize the degree of truth that is communicated in revelation. God says in the Holy Quran after Adam and Eve fell into the temptations of the devil (and ate from the forbidden tree):

"And God said, "Get ye all down hence, the one of you a foe unto the other. Hereafter shall guidance come unto you from me; And whoso followeth my guidance shall not err, and shall not be wretched: But whoso turneth away from my monition, his truly shall be a life of misery: And We will assemble him with others on the day of Resurrection, blind."

Today I was reading a chapter in a book called "Collaborative treatment of traumatized children and teens : the trauma systems therapy approach" by Saxe, Ellis and Kaplow (2007). I liked the manner the ideas are presented in this book. I have just read one particular chapter. I don have the entire book. I have got access to this chapter through ebrary.

The book gives guidelines as how to treat traumatized children. Children who were exposed to different forms of physical or psychological abuse and children who were involved in traumatic experiences such as car accidents.

I am working this Friday's afternoon on this new website. I am working on the styling of the quotes: CSS and image manipulation software for the keen. Some work and thinking goes into this. The results are obtained. Slight appearance issues. When the site will have several topics and a respectable amount of quotes the results will be more apparent. The important thing is that the task is done.

Is not it time to take a break and enjoy the afternoon's meal and taking care of the garden.

The more I live upon this earth the more I realize how generous God is. I really cannot understand how I had lived many years of my life without being aware of His light and peaceful presence. About His kind character.

What perception do you have of God ?! Of the Holy Bible or of the Holy Quran ?! Are they only books with orders as to what you should do or should not ?! What is your stand ?!

Do you find yourself sometimes thinking persistently about some issue or problem (e.g. whether you should ask the boss for a work assistant)? Thinking helps us adjust to constantly changing demands. It should help us solve issues that we encounter in daily life. You recognize an imbalance (need vs. availability) and think how to achieve the desired outcome. However, if your thinking gets stuck and you find yourself going nowhere with the thinking then this should raise a red flag.

Welcome to this new site on the web. I am thinking about writing here my ideas and thoughts regarding better personal and family lives. English is not my mother tongue, so you should expect some odd ways of using English. Practice makes expert, I believe, and I appreciate comments regarding language.

I believe that I will be exploring my self by posting here. I hope that you will find my insights helpful and useful.

I am in the mid-twenties of my life. I will write more about myself later.
